Artist's Comments

Probably the first and last fanart for Pan's Labyrinth or El laberinto del fauno. I see Pan as I see Snape from Harry Potter: an enigmatic persona whom is working under his own vices. A self-serving but charming Faun, there is much to love and loathe of his character (quite a contrast to Mr Tumnus, yes? ;) ). However, you have to agree that Pan does care for his faery friends. I rather like their organic appearances. :)

I wanted the picture to be sort of ethereal and all those opulescent-like terms, but I don't know (I have three seperate monitors, and each one is of a different lighting). It might not have the same effect if your monitor is too light or dark, but oh well.

I think he was sort of nuetral, an agent of his own, in a way. The movie was brilliantly portrayed.
